Overview

This evening course will run subject to sufficient numbers enrolling – there will be a limited number of places available. In this intermediate course learning and reading ancient Greek is combined with an exploration of literature and culture. Building on the basics of Greek grammar acquired at Beginners level, we will consolidate foundations to begin reading unadapted works in Attic and Koine Greek. Books used and texts read will be specified by the tutor at the beginning of the course.

Duration

This course comprises of one class per week over two terms commencing in September 2022 and recommencing in January 2023.
