Module registration forms are available through Academic Registry’s webpage. Once you have attended the School’s visiting student orientation session, you will be asked to make an appointment with the Visiting Student Co-ordinator to discuss your module choices.
Once you have completed your module registration form, and submitted the authorised copy to Academic Registry, you will be able to access your personalised module timetable through your Trinity online portal.

All incoming students will be contacted via email with details of upcoming orientation meetings. The School of Physics will contact you via the address that you provide on your Study Abroad/Erasmus application form. Please make sure that regularly check this email account upon arrival in Dublin.
This depends upon the availability of places on individual courses and your background in the subject. The School’s Visiting Student Co-ordinator can meet you individually and advise you on the requirements for each module.
If you are enrolling as a Michaelmas term only student, please make sure that you notify the School of Physics office of your departure date so that arrangements can be made for your assessment.
Students who are currently studying physics or a related degree in their home institution will only be accepted for Sophister modules. Freshman modules are available to all students but you should speak to the School’s Visiting Student Co-ordinator about the course before you apply to Trinity.
The School of Physics can only register you for physics modules. You will need to contact the appropriate School in order to sign up for modules outside of physics. Any questions about studying in another Schools should be addressed to appropriate co-ordinator.
Finalised timetables will become available in early September. You will be given a hardcopy of the School of Physics timetable during the School’s visiting student orientation session. Please make sure that you only refer to your online timetable once you have registered for you modules successfully.
A Transcript of Results is sent by Trinity’s Academic Registry to your home university.
