Trinity College Dublin has been ranked as the top Irish university for the seventh successive year in The Sunday Times University League Table. The award was announced in The Sunday Times University Guide 2010 published on Sunday last which assesses all third-level institutions in Ireland and Britain under key performance areas.
The league table is drawn up from criteria including average points for entry, research income, graduate employment, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, and completion rates.
TCD continues to attract the best qualified students in the country, attracting the most students with the highest number of Leaving Certificate points.
