The degrees, Trinity’s highest honour, were awarded by Trinity’s Pro-Chancellor Shane Allwright in a ceremony conducted in Latin in the historic Public Theatre.

An All-Ireland Centre of Excellence in Economics, History and Policy is among 12 Trinity research projects funded under the Shared Island North-South Research Programme.
The diverse group had participated in regular RISING creative climate action workshops since November 2021, in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin and Brokentalkers Theatre company.

Researchers from Trinity and NUI Galway studied data from over 2,000 patients in Ireland to contribute to both studies, published in the journal Nature today.
Several events are taking place on the Trinity campus this year including tours of the Berkeley, Lecky and Ussher libraries, a Med Day event for Trinity Access Programmes-linked secondary schools, and a Bookmarks exhibition.
