The Discipline of Occupational Therapy offers a four-year honours degree course that qualifies the graduate to work as an occupational therapist. The course is approved by the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI), the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) and by Ireland’s multi-professional health regulator (CORU). There is a significant practice education component (of at least 1,000 hours) in the undergraduate programme during which the student is required to reach a level of competency in order to graduate. Teaching takes place in the Trinity Centre for Health Sciences and on the main Trinity College campus at College Green.
