To gain a MSc by research, the student must complete an original piece of research under the supervision of an academic staff member of the Discipline. The average duration of a MSc by research is 1-2 years fulltime or 2-3 years part time. The MSc by research is without a taught component but students are expected to develop their skills in research methodology throughout the course of their MSc. Students from other disciplines are also very welcome. Academic staff in the Discipline of Occupational Therapy work in interdisciplinary contexts and employ a variety of methodologies - please see research profile and academic staff of the Discipline for further information.
Information on how to apply to our MSc by research is found here.
