Course Overview

The Postgraduate Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion in Further Education and Training provides opportunities for participants to develop professional understanding and knowledge through study, practice, and critical reflection on their experiences as a Further Education and Training (FET) teacher. It is designed to help participants develop innovative professional ideas and practice to support learners with diverse educational needs in a range of settings. It will allow participants to explore the theoretical factors underpinning policy and practice in the areas of diversity and inclusion and apply course knowledge and skills to their professional practice. It will enable participants to reflect critically on their professional role, practice, and context to evaluate and improve future teaching and learning.

Course Duration

The course is a one year, part-time course. The next intake is September 2022, closing date for applications is 31st May 2022.
