Anna Galvin - Occupational Therapist

Biography 

Anna is an Occupational Therapist who joined the Trinity Disability Service January 2022. Anna completed a B.Sc. in Sports and Exercise Sciences, before returning to university to complete the M.Sc. Occupational Therapy (Professional Qualification), graduating from the University of Limerick in 2021.

Anna has previously worked in the area of physical rehabilitation, providing practical support to people so that they can adapt and overcome physical challenges, through the development of new skills and the provision of assistive equipment to enable activities of daily living. Anna hopes to bring this practical approach to challenges into her work in Trinity Disability Service.

Anna has a keen interest in sports and plays Gaelic football, representing Kerry at intercounty level. Having captained the Kerry Ladies football team in 2020 and again in 2022, Anna hopes to bring the leadership, interpersonal and communication skills she has learned from this role into her work as an occupational therapist.

Anna is a member of the AOTI (Association of Occupational Therapists in Ireland) and is registered with CORÚ, the regulatory body for health and social care professionals in Ireland.
