The database contains over 275 records of Historic Civil Engineering Works (HEWs). Essentially, each record provides a quick reference to its qualities and quantities. It answers the question - what is it? - where is it? - who designed and built it? - and, when was it built?
The National Civil Engineering Heritage Database contains records for the following HEWs. A very brief description of the work, together with its principal dimensions, is also included. HEW records may be consulted by arrangement with Dr. Ron Cox.
